The Purdy Fund
The following League of Extraordinary Gentlemen have made donations for the publication of "CJS Purdy Vol. 4" and "Chess Bits and Obits." Those submitting payments by cash, credit card, check, or money order will be recognized here and in the two books as contributors and subscribers to the chess arts.
The amount took an 80% jump when Purdy's son-in-law Frank Hutchings made a large donation, followed by Nancy Purdy's donation (she is the widow of Cecil Purdy), and a large contribution for John Purdy (CJS's son).

As of March 1, 2006 there is $4995 in the fund. The total amount will be around $5000.
